PRESENTATION meeting.....
The purpose of an O&M Presentation Meeting is not simply to hand over a collection of documents.
It is to demonstrate that the operational information developed throughout the project has been compiled, structured and presented so that those responsible for the building can understand, operate and maintain the installed systems.
We will also identify and formally record any information remaining outstanding at Practical Completion.
“A Manual isn't successfully delivered when somebody receives it.
It's successfully delivered when somebody understands how to use it.”
The objective is to demonstrate what has been provided, explain how the information is structured and used, identify any agreed outstanding items, and establish a clear record of what has been accepted for the purposes of handover.
The presentation does not to imply that they themselves certify PC that remains a matter for the appropriate contract administrator, employer's agent or other person identified by the contract.
Explain the document hierarchy and navigation, including:
Introduction → Project Information → Design Intent → System Descriptions → Operating Instructions → Controls →Equipment/Asset Information → Maintenance → Fault Finding → Emergency Procedures → Commissioning & Testing →Certification → Manufacturers' Literature → Warranties → As-Fitted Drawings.
